Integration of disaster management with development plans at the kelurahan level has been carried out by Disaster Alert Village (KSB) Kelurahan Nanggewer and Tangguh Disaster Village (THE EPISODE) Pondok Rajeg Village. This activity is a workshop facilitated by the Indonesian Scale Foundation which is included in the series of urban community programs for tough action (STRONG). This event was carried out on 7-9 January 2025 by involving the kinds of representatives of the layers of society in Nanggewer and Pondok Rajeg Village.
This activity is carried out to realize a sustainable toughness in dealing with disasters. This is reinforced by the existence of Government Regulation Number 21 2008 Article 6 verse (1) Regarding the implementation of disaster management which states that disaster management planning is part of development planning.
Integration of disaster management with development plans
Disaster Management Complaints Workshop with regional development plans is carried out by combining elements of disaster management into the development work plan (Rkp) annual in each village. The combination process follows the logic and flow of regional development planning that is carried out technocratically, top-lower and lower-upper and participatory approaches, and using a thematic approach, Holistic, Integrative, and spatial or commonly abbreviated as this.
In this activity, The participants gained knowledge about the Public Policy System, participation, formulate strategic issues, negotiation techniques and how to influence public policy makers or advocacy. This learning uses group discussion methods using various kinds of media and learning tools, so that it can increase participant creativity.
Asep Irwan, Deputy KSB Kelurahan Nanggewer said "This activity is very important, Because it can integrate the issue of disaster management that must be in line with the preparation of the RPJMD/RPJPD ".
"Surely the community and disaster activists have understood the potential for disasters in their region and must act what to prevent the impact of the disaster," added Asep.
