The threat of the earthquake is so great, so there needs to be an increase in community capacity to be able to reduce the risk of disaster. The Indonesian Scale Foundation initiated the Program "Develop Community Led on Disaster Risk Management”, then supported by PT. Mandala Multifinance Tbk. This program is carried out in the hope that citizens can be more independent in overcoming disasters.
This program begins with organizing Focus Group Discussion (FGD) which was carried out on Friday, 3 March 2023. The earthquake ten years ago was so exhausted for residents in Tanah Gayo. In the discussion, Some residents convey their collective memory of the great earthquake they experienced in the year 2013. One of them is Siti Sarah, He told of the earthquake ten years ago.
"The incident occurred at half 3 siang, Our plan is to evacuate to the pantan. My late mother was carried by my husband who was brought through the coffee forest. Some houses run out evenly and have nothing left in the abyss, "said Sarah.
Next, Sistia Araini, a student from Kute Panang, told me about his experience when the earthquake occurred. Ten years ago, Sistia is still in elementary school.
"I remember the date of the date 2 July 2013, at stngh 3. When the earthquake incident scattered and several houses were destroyed. After the earthquake, Many residents fled to the houses of the brothers and to the neighboring village, "said Sistia.

Many collective memories regarding the earthquake have been vaguely remembered by the public. After the discussion is over, Residents together make disaster threat maps and participatory evacuation route maps. Some youth representatives have volunteers to make village maps, Then all participants are charged to determine the vulnerable area and the area is safe to be an evacuation place if there is a disaster someday.
Laughter jokes are always tucked in every discussion in making participatory maps. Until the end of the activity, Each community group presents the results of their discussion to all discussion participants. Some debates began to emerge and maps that have been repaired repaired.
