The Indonesian Scale Foundation is a non-profit organization consisting of journalists and was founded in 2005 in Jakarta with a legal entity association with the name Perkumpulan Skala. Then in year 2018 we changed the legal status of the legal entity to Yayasan Skala Indonesia.
Yayasan Skala Indonesia is open to cooperation with government organizations, non-government, business, and media in various fields, but not binding nor related to any particular political affiliation. We see that partnership is the key to overall program sustainability.
In addition to working for member capacity building, we also establish partnerships through the research division, media/campaign, and programs for various issues, especially climate change, disaster risk reduction, organizational accountability, local culture, and sustainable development (socio-economic investment).
