We all know that Indonesia is on a ring of fire where there are 127 active volcano. Disasters often happen, like a volcano erupting, earthquake, flood, and landslide. Therefore, the focus on disaster risk reduction is one of the main programs of Yayasan Skala Indonesia. Yayasan Skala Indonesia realizes that, Disaster management efforts require strengthening of real activities that have an impact on disaster risk reduction.
- The following is the mission of the Disaster Risk Reduction Program that we have contributed since 2015 to date :
- Conduct campaigns and participate in advocating for disaster risk reduction to the government and local stakeholders, to provide support for the community and society.
- Researching various disaster knowledge and disaster risk reduction as a knowledge management center related to disasters in Indonesia.
- Participate in setting community disaster preparedness plans.
Increase community resilience to recover from the impact of natural disasters and humanitarian disasters.
